CHAKRA CLEARING EXERCISES

PHYSICAL EXERCISES FOR CLEARING CHAKRAS

For all exercises, make the movement as small or as large as you like. If you have mobility limitations, imagine you are doing the exercise. Do about 12 rotations in each direction.


CROWN: Head circles: imagine you are drawing a circle on the ceiling with the crown of your head.
HEAD: Eye circles: look out with the eyes as far as you can to all directions.
THROAT: Head turns: turn the head side to side, and up and down.
HEART: Shoulder circles: circle the shoulders forward and back.
SOLAR PLEXUS: Torso twists: swing the arms/shoulders to one side then the other to feel a twist in the middle of your torso.
NAVEL: Interior hip circles: bend your knees slightly and circle your hips, feeling a contraction in the belly as the tail tucks.
BASE: Knee bends: do about 50 mini squats while facing north and thinking about abundance.
ROOT: Exterior hip circle: keeping knees straight, circle hips out to the four directions.

SIDE MERIDIANS: Side stretch: reach arm up overhead and stretch side to side.
